Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe has quashed the need for an agent after revealing that his parents are sorting out a new contract.
Ibe has one year left on his current deal, but Reds manager Brendan Rodgers has stated that the 19-year-old is integral to the club's future plans.
Instead of having an agent, the Daily Mail reports that Ibe is relying upon his parents, Charlet and Michael, to finalise a deal.
Ibe said: "I don't believe in having an agent. I don't really see the need for one to be fair. My parents do the same job and they are my family which is number one to me. I can trust them and they are the best people.
"It's not that I have had a bad experience with agents. It is just my opinion, I don't see what they can do that my family can't."
Ibe has been at Anfield since joining shortly after his 16th birthday.
