Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson believes that he is finally returning to fitness following a lengthy spell out with a hamstring injury.
The England international marked his recent return to the starting lineup by scoring the winning goal as the Reds defeated Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
Speaking about his goal after the match, Johnson told Sky Sports News: "I like to get forward and I'm grateful to get the goal.
"I've had a few difficult months but game by game I've been feeling better.
"I finally feel that I'm getting fitter."
The 27-year-old joined Liverpool in 2009 from Portsmouth.
