Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he will take a break from football next season.
The German coach officially left Borussia Dortmund at the weekend after his team were beaten in the final of the DFB-Pokal by Wolfsburg.
Manchester City, Liverpool and Napoli are just three of the teams that Klopp has been linked with in recent days, but the 47-year-old has confirmed that he will now take a break from coaching following "seven intense and emotional seasons with Dortmund".
"After seven intense and emotional seasons with Dortmund, it makes sense for a break," Klopp said in a statement. "Now is the time to think about the memories before I can think about accepting a new assignment."
Klopp took charge of Dortmund in 2008 and led the German club to two league titles and one German Cup, in addition to a runners-up medal in the 2012-13 Champions League final.
