Jurgen Klopp hails "brilliant" Danny Ward

Liverpool's debutant goalkeeper Danny Wards earns praise from manager Jurgen Klopp following the 2-1 win away at Bournemouth.

Jurgen Klopp has paid tribute to the performance that Danny Ward produced on his Liverpool debut this afternoon.

The Welsh goalkeeper replaced No.1 Simon Mignolet between the posts against Bournemouth and played his part in a 2-1 victory at Dean Court.

Asked by BBC Sport about the 22-year-old's display, Klopp responded: "Danny Ward was brilliant. Let the self-confidence grow of goalkeepers, they're normal human beings."

Ward joined the Reds from Wrexham for £100,000 in 2012.
