Liverpool will break an English goalscoring record if they net at least three times against Watford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool have set their sights on breaking an all-time English goalscoring record on Saturday.

The Reds travel to Watford in the Premier League's early kickoff and would move to the top of the table with victory at Vicarage Road.

Jurgen Klopp's side have netted at least three goals in each of their last six away games in all competitions - against Burnley, Norwich City (twice), Leeds United, Brentford and Porto.

However, no team in English football has ever scored three times in seven consecutive matches on the road in all competitions.

Liverpool are the highest scorers in the Premier League this season with 17 goals to their name, but did lose 3-0 on their last visit to Watford in February 2020.

Saturday is Claudio Ranieri's first game in charge of the Hornets, who sit 15th in the table but with no clean sheets to show so far.
