Liverpool assistant manager Steve Clarke has said that the club are waiting to learn the extent of Glen Johnson's hamstring injury.
The full-back made his first appearance of the season as a substitute in Saturday's loss away at Stoke City, but had to be withdrawn.
"We are still waiting on the results of Glen's scan so until that comes out there's no point in speculating about it," said Clarke.
"We will just see how he is when we get the scan and see what the timeframe is."
The Reds next face Tottenham Hotspur away on Sunday.
