Liverpool will assess Steven Gerrard's latest injury concern next week after he missed his side's 2-0 win at West Bromwich Albion.
The captain, who recently returned after six months out with a groin problem, has an ankle infection and could miss England's upcoming friendly against Spain on Saturday, November 12.
"Steven was in our minds for the game," said Dalglish. "It just flared up.
"We are not going to mislead anyone. We will know better on Monday or Tuesday.
"Will he be fit for England? I haven't got a clue. It's nothing to do with any injuries before - it's an infection. I suppose it's like having an abscess on your mouth."
The Reds host Swansea City in the Premier League next Saturday.
