Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has hailed his side's performance during their 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this afternoon.
The Reds found themselves a goal and a man down with 20 minutes remaining of the match after Joe Ledley had opened the scoring and James Milner had been given his marching orders.
However, Roberto Firmino levelled things up for Jurgen Klopp's side before Christian Benteke stole a late winner from the penalty spot to hand Liverpool three league wins in a row for the first time this season.
"It was an incredible performance from all of us, especially after the red card. We stepped up and showed our skills and character," Lovren told Sky Sports News.
"This is a lift for every one of us. It's good for confidence and we need to continue like this."
Liverpool now sit seventh in the Premier League table, six points off the Champions League places.
