Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has revealed that he is nearing a return to full fitness.
The Brazilian missed most of the last campaign with a thigh injury before his comeback this season was cut short after just four games.
However, the 25-year-old has featured in the Reds' last three matches and he now believes that he is getting back to his best.
"In terms of fitness, I'm very close to being 100% but it's just a question of time and games, to be honest," he told the club's official website.
"It's very hard to predict how long it will take to get back to my best but I can see an improvement every week, especially in the training sessions."
