Simon Mignolet praises Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge partnership

Simon Mignolet insists that Liverpool will always have a chance when Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge are on the pitch.

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has praised the attacking threat of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge following the Merseyside derby.

The Reds took the lead twice in Saturday's clash against Everton, but found themselves trailing 3-2 with just eight minutes left to play before Sturridge headed home a 89th-minute equaliser.

"I have to be honest once they scored at 3-2 you think you are losing the game but looking back we are always there scoring goals," the shot-stopper told reporters.

"We always get a chance with Daniel and Luis and we know they have goals. Daniel scored the equaliser which was very important for us as it means we can keep going in the way we started this season and make sure we build on that.

"If we win next week, this can be a very important point for us."

Liverpool currently sit in second place in the Premier League table.
