Simon Mignolet: 'Luis Suarez's return to Liverpool side is a big boost'

Simon Mignolet says that the return of Luis Suarez is a "big boost" for Liverpool.

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is confident that Luis Suarez will win games for the Reds following his return to action.

The Uruguay international made his first start for Liverpool since last season in their Capital One Cup third-round defeat to Manchester United on Wednesday following a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

"Seeing him come back into the squad is a big boost for us," the Liverpool Echo quotes Mignolet as saying. "Everyone knows the quality he has and it is what we need for Liverpool. We know there's a lot more to come from him and I'm sure he will score goals and win games for Liverpool again."

The Reds will take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League this Sunday.
