Divock Origi pleased with 'satisfying' win over Stoke City

Two-goal Liverpool forward Divock Origi says that the Reds "showed a lot of qualities" in their 4-1 win over Stoke City at Anfield.

Two-goal Liverpool striker Divock Origi has described this afternoon's 4-1 Premier League victory over Stoke City as "satisfying".

The Reds comfortably saw off the Potters, despite Jurgen Klopp making seven changes to the side that started Thursday night's 1-1 draw at Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League quarter-final first leg.

Origi was one of those to drop to the bench, but he came on at half time and scored a quickfire brace to put the game to bed.

"That was very satisfying," the Belgian forward said. "It's never easy to play against Stoke but we showed we had a lot of qualities.

"I'm never satisfied with my own play, but I'm happy. It's nice to play and score. I'm learning and enjoying my football."

Three points took Liverpool above Stoke and up to eighth in the table.
