Boxing Day Preview: Liverpool vs. Blackburn Rovers

Steve Kean's bottom-of-the-table Blackburn Rovers will be travelling to Liverpool without the services of five defenders.

Having seen his side slump to their sixth draw of the season against Wigan Athletic on Wednesday evening, Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish could be tempted into making some changes for the visit of Blackburn Rovers.

Craig Bellamy, who started the Wigan game as a substitute, has been touted to feature from the beginning at Anfield.

Another attack-minded player likely to feature is Luis Suarez, who still has time to contest the eight-match suspension he has been dealt for racially abusing Patrice Evra.

Under-pressure Steve Kean will take his Rovers side to Merseyside without the services of full-back Martin Olsson.

Fellow defenders Scott Dann, Gael Givet and Ryan Nelson will also miss the encounter.

Rovers last claimed all three points at Anfield during the 1993-94 season.
