Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has declared that he feels fully fit and ready to find top form over a busy Christmas period for the Reds.
Reina has been dogged by a hamstring complaint for the first half of this season, missing seven Premier League games with the problem.
The Spanish international admitted that he was upset with his early-season form but believes that he can improve under Brendan Rodgers.
He told the club's official website: "I'm on the way to my best. I was a little bit upset with myself [earlier in the season] and it was a time to show a bit of commitment and get a fresh start from zero, that's what I've tried to do.
"I feel fresher, I feel lighter and I am ready for more. Hopefully my best years are still ahead of me.
"People say goalkeepers reach their best in their 30s, and I am 30 right now, so hopefully my golden days are still waiting for me."
The Reds have kept four clean sheets in their last seven Premier League matches with Reina in between the posts.
