Brendan Rodgers praises Andre Wisdom

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers believes that Reds defender Andre Wisdom has a big future at the club.

The 19-year-old, who scored on his debut against Young Boys in the Europa League, made his league bow for the club in Saturday's thumping win over Norwich City.

"When I came Andre had been at centre-half but he has the physical and technical capacity to play full-back. The modern day full-back has a lot of the ball and has to have strength, pace and power - well Andre has that," Rodgers told Sky Sports News.

Wisdom has been named in England's Under-21 squad for the double header against Serbia.
