Daniel Sturridge: 'I'm ready to play every game'

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge insists that he wants to play every game after making his comeback from injury.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has insisted that he is ready to play every game after making his comeback from injury.

The England international started Wednesday night's Premier League clash against Burnley at Anfield and scored Liverpool's second goal in their 2-0 win.

Sturridge says that he does not want to be held back as the Reds continue their bid to qualify for the Champions League.

"I feel good, I have felt really good since I came back and I am ready to play every game," FourFourTwo quotes him as saying.

"I don't want to be eased in but I suppose that is what the manager wants."

Liverpool are fifth in the Premier League table, two points adrift of Manchester United in fourth.
