Bolton host Liverpool on Saturday, with Andy Carroll likely to return to Kenny Dalglish's starting lineup.

Liverpool will need to pick up the points when they travel to Bolton Wanderers in order to keep up their fight for fourth place in the Premier League.

Owen Coyle's side host the Reds, who stumbled to a 0-0 draw against Stoke City last weekend, while Bolton head into the match on the back of an FA Cup win over Macclesfield Town.

The Lancashire side could use Ivan Klasnic over ex-Liverpool striker David N'Gog up front, with Fabrice Muamba and Nigel Reo-Coker slotting in midfield.

David Wheater is expected to retain his spot in the back four following Gary Cahill's £7m departure to Chelsea.

Kenny Dalglish is likely to switch his formation from the side that failed to make the breakthrough at Anfield last Saturday. Jamie Carragher is expected to be on the bench with Daniel Agger returning to the fray after recovering from a slight knock.

Andy Carroll should lead the line for the Reds, despite being dropped for Stoke's visit to Merseyside last week. Charlie Adam and Steven Gerrard are expected to be in the centre of a five-man midfield.
