Liverpool tied up their pre-season programme with a 2-0 victory against Valencia at Anfield.
Andy Carroll gave the Reds the lead after just six minutes, capitalising on a backpass from Valencia's David Albelda to slot home after hitting the post.
The home side extended their lead in the final minutes as Dirk Kuyt bundled the ball home from a free kick.
Kenny Dalglish's team kick off the new season on Saturday at home to Sunderland.
