Team News: Jordon Ibe starts for Liverpool

Jordon Ibe starts for Liverpool as they travel to fierce local rivals Everton.

Jordon Ibe starts for Liverpool as they travel to fierce local rivals Everton this evening.

The youngster was only recalled from a loan spell with Derby County last month, but Brendan Rodgers has named the winger in his starting lineup for the visit to Goodison Park.

Daniel Sturridge returned from a five-month layoff from injury last week, but the England striker is forced to settle for a place on the bench, while Mario Balotelli is once again left out of the squad all together.

Meanwhile, Everton have welcomed James McCarthy back into their ranks, and wantaway winger Kevin Mirallas is also part of the starting XI.

However, there is no place for Leighton Baines, with Bryan Oviedo taking the England left-back's place.

Everton: Robles; Oviedo, Jagielka, Stones, Coleman; Besic, Barry, McCarthy, Mirallas; Naismith, Lukaku

Liverpool: Mignolet; Can, Skrtel, Sakho; Lucas, Henderson, Gerrard, Moreno, Ibe, Coutinho; Sterling.
