Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has opted to keep goalkeeper Loris Karius between the sticks for Thursday's friendly with Blackburn Rovers.
A report had suggested that Karius would be dropped for the fixture at Ewood Park, but Danny Ward's potential move to Leicester City has resulted in the German keeping his place.
Fabinho and Naby Keita only feature on the bench, but Klopp has selected a strong team with James Milner and Adam Lallana featuring in midfield.
In attack, both Divock Origi and Dominic Solanke are given a chance to impress, while Joel Matip starts after his recent recovery from injury.
Rovers, meanwhile, have named a strong side for their maiden pre-season home friendly, with their regular backline players all starting.
New capture Joe Rothwell will get his first run-out at Ewood, while fellow new arrival Jacob Davenport is an option from the bench alongside youngsters Scott Wharton, Lewis Travis and Joe Nuttall.
