Team News: Simon Mignolet returns to Liverpool starting XI against Swansea City

Simon Mignolet starts for Liverpool in their Premier League match against Swansea City, while captain Steven Gerrard is rested.

Simon Mignolet has returned to the Liverpool starting lineup for this evening's Premier League match against Swansea City.

The keeper had lost his place in the side to Brad Jones, but the Australian has been ruled out with a thigh injury.

Captain Steven Gerrard has been rested and begins the night on the bench, while Emre Can comes into the defence.

Meanwhile, Swansea have made three changes to the side that claimed a 1-0 victory over Aston Villa on Boxing Day.

Ashley Richards, Leon Britton and Nathan Dyer all come in to replace Angel Rangel, Ki Sung-yeung and Jefferson Montero.
