Team News: Divock Origi, Danny Ings lead strong Liverpool XI

Summer purchases Joe Gomez, Danny Ings, Nathaniel Clyne and James Milner all start for Liverpool in their pre-season clash against Brisbane Roar.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has opted to name a strong starting lineup for his side's second pre-season outing.

The Reds, who brushed aside a Thailand All-Stars side earlier this week, now take on Brisbane Roar at the Suncorp Stadium.

Divock Origi, fresh off the back of his goal in that 4-0 win last time out, leads the attack for Liverpool, while Danny Ings and Adam Lallana will offer attacking support.

Summer signing Joe Gomez starts at the back, meanwhile, with fellow new boy James Milner also being given another run-out Down Under.

In terms of the hosts, who are currently sixth in the A-League ladder, manager John Aloisi has handed a home debut to Jamie Maclaren.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Sakho, Gomez, Henderson, Lucas, Milner, Ings, Lallana, Origi

Brisbane Roar XI: Young, Hingert, Donachie, North, Stefanutto, Lustica, Brattan, Broich, Petratos, Maclaren, Borello
