Bradley, Bajcetic, Thiago - Liverpool injury list and return dates for Fulham clash

Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League showdown with Fulham.

Heading home from Italy with their tails tucked between their legs, Liverpool travel to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham in Sunday's Premier League fixture.

The Reds beat Atalanta BC 1-0 in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday, but their narrow triumph was not enough owing to La Dea's 3-0 success in the opening fixture, thus bringing Jurgen Klopp's final continental adventure with the club to an end.

Prior to their inconsequential victory in Bergamo, Liverpool lost by the same scoreline against Crystal Palace in the top flight to fall two points behind Manchester City, while they remain below Arsenal on goal difference too.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with the Cottagers, who bested West Ham United 2-0 last weekend.

Conor Bradley

Status: Out
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: May 5 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)

Conor Bradley was substituted in the second half of last weekend's loss to Palace with an ankle injury, and the right-back is now confirmed to be missing the rest of the month, but he should be back in action in early May.

Stefan Bajcetic

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Fitness
Possible return date: April 21 (vs. Fulham)

Despite managing some minutes for the Under-21s last Friday, Stefan Bajcetic was left out of the squad to face Atalanta as he continues building up his fitness following a calf injury, but there is a good chance that he will be available for selection here.

Thiago Alcantara

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

On the contrary, Bajcetic's Spanish compatriot Thiago Alcantara is not expected to play again this season, having picked up a severe muscle issue against Arsenal which might bring an end to his Liverpool career.

Ben Doak

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Ben Doak underwent an operation on a severe knee injury towards the end of 2023, and there have been few updates on the Scotsman's condition since, but he is definitely out this weekend.

Joel Matip

Possible return date: Unknown

Similarly, Joel Matip is on the long road to recovery from December's ACL injury, and the Cameroonian's season is already over, meaning that he could have also played his last competitive match for the Merseyside giants.
