Liverpool will be without Diogo Jota when they return to Premier League action against Norwich City at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Portuguese attacker was left out against Burnley last weekend due to a dead leg, but returned to the starting lineup for the midweek Champions League win over Inter Milan at San Siro.
However, Jota lasted just 45 minutes of that match before being taken off with an ankle injury, which is reportedly more serious than first feared.
Roberto Firmino replaced Jota at San Siro and went on to score the opening goal, and he is expected to come back into the starting lineup as he looks to add to his recent record of five goal involvements in his last four meetings with Norwich.
Mohamed Salah can go one better than that with five in his last three games against the Canaries, and he will be desperate to start again having rediscovered his scoring touch with the second goal in midweek.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to make some changes to his starting XI, though, with a midweek league game against Leeds United and the EFL Cup final to come next week.
Jordan Henderson is one of those pushing for a recall following his effective cameo off the bench in Milan, while Joel Matip and Naby Keita are among the others hopeful of a return to the starting lineup.
New signing Luis Diaz could also come into the side following a bright start to his Liverpool career.
Aside from Jota's absence, Klopp has no other injury concerns to worry about heading into Saturday's showdown, which could see them close the gap on leaders Manchester City back to six points.
Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Keita; Salah, Firmino, Diaz
