Adam Lallana is reportedly set to pen a short-term contract extension with Liverpool until the end of the current campaign.
The 32-year-old has amassed 22 goals in 178 appearances for the Reds since his arrival in 2014, but Lallana has only managed three Premier League starts during the 2019-20 season.
The former Southampton man has been linked with a number of Premier League sides as of late, with Leicester City rumoured to be leading the race for his signature.
However, according to The Independent, Lallana's next contract signing will be an extension at Anfield until the Premier League season can reach a conclusion amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The report claims that the England international has instilled a winning attitude in the Liverpool dressing room, and Jurgen Klopp is keen for Lallana to finish his time in Merseyside with a Premier League winners' medal.
Liverpool have forged a 25-point lead at the top of the table prior to the June 17 resumption.
