Inter Milan youngster Mateo Kovacic will not be moving to Liverpool this summer, according to the player's agent.
The 20-year-old, who only signed a contract extension in January, has been heavily linked with a move to the Reds as the Nerazzurri are believed to be trying to raise money to bid for Manchester City's Yaya Toure.
However, Kovacic's agent Nikky Vuksan has dismissed reports that the Croatian international will be joining the Anfield outfit.
He told Vecernji list: "It is not going to happen. Mateo extended his contract with Inter in January.
"Could it be that clubs are negotiating? No, that is not possible without Mateo and me knowing about it."
Arsenal and Barcelona are also thought to be interested in signing the midfielder.
