Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno is reportedly keen on securing a return to Sevilla when his contract at Anfield expires at the end of the season.

Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno has reportedly decided that he would like to return to former club Sevilla.

Moreno left the Spanish side to link up with Liverpool in 2014, and the left-back has gone on to make 139 appearances for the Merseyside giants in all competitions.

However, just three of those outings have come during the current campaign, and Moreno is unlikely to consider a new contract with his current deal expiring in the summer.

According to Marca, Moreno wants to secure a reunion with Sevilla, who are said to hold an interest in signing the 26-year-old on a free transfer.

Liverpool are likely to prefer cashing in on the player during the January window, but Moreno could potentially decide to bide his time before having his pick of clubs in eight months' time.
