Atletico Madrid, Liverpool to battle for Thomas Lemar?

A report claims that Atletico Madrid and Liverpool both want to sign AS Monaco attacker Thomas Lemar in the summer transfer window.

Atletico Madrid and Liverpool will reportedly go head to head for AS Monaco attacker Thomas Lemar in the summer transfer window.

The 20-year-old, who joined Monaco from Caen in the summer of 2015, scored five times during the 2015-16 Ligue 1 season.

A number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the France Under-21 international, but according to L'Equipe, Atletico and Liverpool will battle for his signature next month.

Monaco famously sold Anthony Martial to Manchester United last summer in a deal that could reach upwards of £50m.
