Barcelona have reportedly joined the race to sign Liverpool winger Sadio Mane, amid interest from Bayern Munich also.
The 30-year-old only has one year remaining on his current contract at Anfield, but renewal negotiations between Mane and the Reds are believed to be ongoing.
Jurgen Klopp's side are said to have not been contacted by Bayern yet over their interest in the winger, while the German giants could now face competition from Spain for Mane's signature.
Mundo Deportivo reports that after Xavi's side have seemingly missed out on signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland, who is on his way to Manchester City, the La Liga outfit will now go in pursuit of Mane.
This summer will be Xavi's first pre-season in the dugout at Camp Nou, and it is no secret that there will be a significant turnaround in squad personnel at Barcelona, but to achieve the signing of Mane, they will have to fend off competition from Bayern, who could be looking to replace Robert Lewandowski.
Mane is currently focused on claiming the quadruple with Liverpool, as the Reds remain in every competition at this late stage in the season.
