Barnet youngster Daniel Cheema 'attracting Premier League interest'

A report claims that young Barnet winger Daniel Cheema is a target for a number of Premier League and Championship clubs, including Merseyside giants Liverpool.

Barnet youngster Daniel Cheema has been linked with a January move to Premier League giants Liverpool.

The 16-year-old winger is said to have been monitored by the Reds, who could now make an official approach in the New Year.

Cheema has found the net 16 times for the Bees' youth side, which has seen him rewarded with a place among the first-team ranks in training.

Liverpool are not the only side rumoured to have shown an interest, though, as The Sun claims that Everton, Sunderland, West Ham United and a whole host of Championship teams are also keeping tabs.

Former England Futsal captain Cheema has yet to represent Barnet at senior level.
