Bayern Munich will reportedly sanction a £40m bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez when Pep Guardiola officially takes charge in the summer.
It was announced last week that Guardiola will replace Jupp Heynckes as manager of the Bundesliga club at the end of the season.
According to The Metro, the Spaniard has identified Suarez as his number-one transfer target and will be financially backed by the Bayern board.
If he fails to sign the Liverpool forward, Guardiola will move for either his Uruguayan compatriot Edinson Cavani or Manchester City frontman Edin Dzeko.
Suarez has scored 20 goals in 30 Reds appearances this campaign.
