Juventus defender Martin Caraces admits that he has urged Liverpool striker Luis Suarez to move to Serie A.

Juventus defender Martin Caraces has admitted that Luis Suarez is "fine" at Liverpool but has revealed that Juventus would welcome the striker.

Caraces, who is in the Uruguay national team with the former Ajax star, could join up with the 25-year-old at club level if rumours linking Suarez to the Serie A side come to pass.

"I have known Suarez for a life time, we have been roommates in the national teams for seven years," Caraces told Tuttosport.

"Speaking in the room he happened to ask me about the club, without going into details about players.

"My answer? I told him they are a club which want always and only to win. He's fine at Liverpool but he liked what I told him about Juve."

Suarez moved to Anfield last January.
