Fiorentina officials to meet Liverpool over Fabio Borini transfer?

Fiorentina officials are reportedly due to hold talks with Liverpool over a proposed transfer of 24-year-old striker Fabio Borini.

Fiorentina officials are reportedly due to meet with Liverpool today to discuss the transfer of forward Fabio Borini.

The Italian international has failed to nail down a place in the club's starting XI following a disappointing 2014-15 campaign, and talkSPORT suggests that Fiorentina want to bring the 24-year-old to Serie A next season.

The same report states that the Viola plan to talk about a proposed deal as they already find themselves in England ahead of their friendly clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this evening.

Borini made 12 appearances for Liverpool last season, scoring just one goal in the process.
