Fiorentina to move for Fabio Borini?

Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has admitted that the club are interested in signing Liverpool striker Fabio Borini.

The Italian international joined the Reds from Roma in the summer, but his Anfield career to date has been interrupted by injury.

He told Radio Toscana: "We seek a striker with a hunger for goals in their DNA, a player who lives for the goal. We like Fabio Borini, but it's hard to see that Liverpool will let him go."

Borini is currently sidelined with a shoulder injury.
