Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus is reportedly keen to join Liverpool in this summer's transfer window.
The Reds are set to be in the market for a new central midfielder as it looks increasingly likely that Georginio Wijnaldum will leave the club when his contract expires in June.
According to Bild, Neuhaus has expressed his desire to leave the Bundesliga club and his 'heart is set' on a move to Anfield this summer.
The 24-year-old is understood to have a £34.8m release clause in his contract, although Liverpool value the midfielder at around £25m.
Jurgen Klopp is said to be an admirer of his compatriot and believes that he has all the attributes to work well within his Gegenpress system.
Neuhaus has made 42 appearances in all competitions for Monchengladbach so far this season, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.
