Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus has insisted that he remains "calm" about his future, despite speculation about a move to Liverpool.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a strong campaign with his current club, scoring six goals from 30 appearances in all competitions.
Liverpool have allegedly been monitoring the development of Neuhaus as they consider potential replacements for Georginio Wijnaldum, who could leave Anfield on a free transfer.
While reiterating that he is happy at his current club, the Germany international has acknowledged that he does not know his career path past the end of the season.
Speaking to Kicker, Neuhaus said: "I have a contract until 2024 and I have very big goals for this season. That's what I'm concentrating on now. Transfer talk is really not a big issue for me now.
"I play at Borussia, I have a contract, and we as a club are still pursuing very big goals this season. I can't say what will happen in the summer at the moment.
"I'm also very relaxed about the future. Borussia is a club where I was able to develop excellently and where everything is there. I know what I have with Borussia."
Neuhaus reportedly has a €40m (£34.56m) release clause in his contract.
