Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is supposedly set to head for Inter Milan in the summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old's contract situation at Anfield remains unresolved, and he is looking increasingly likely to leave when his deal expires at the end of the current campaign.
Wijnaldum has been tipped to reunite with former Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman at Barcelona, but he has also been linked with a move to Italy, and journalists in the region claim that a move to Inter is set to come to fruition amid interest from the club's sporting director Guiseppe Marotta.
Speaking to Sports Mediaset, journalist Claudio Raimond said: "It's a low-profile and free agents market: [Guiseppe] Marotta therefore looks to Georginio Wijnaldum."
Fellow journalist Sandro Sabatini added: "Inter already have a handshake with Wijnaldum, already from last year. Then they decided to do it on a free transfer."
Wijnaldum has remained one of the first names on Jurgen Klopp's teamsheet despite the ongoing speculation over his future, making 24 starts in the current Premier League season.
