Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Inter Milan.
Erick Thohir - president of Inter - has publicly stated that the Italian giants are likely to be active in the January window in an attempt to end the season in the top three of the Serie A standings.
According to reports in Italy, the Nerazzurri are considering launching a bid for the 28-year-old, who has endured long-standing problems at Dortmund.
Reus has made just 43 appearances in the Bundesliga during the last two complete seasons, while the German international is currently sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury sustained in May.
The attacker still has just under two years remaining on his contract, but it has been suggested that Dortmund may be willing to accept an offer in the region of €40m (£35.9m).
Liverpool also hold an interest in Reus, who has previously played under boss Jurgen Klopp.
