RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate has insisted that he is not concerned about recent speculation over a proposed move to Liverpool.
Leipzig have already seen Bayern Munich trigger Dayot Upamecano's release clause, and Liverpool have now reportedly agreed to fork out the £34m needed to prise Konate away from Julian Nagelsmann's side this summer.
However, the 6ft 4in centre-back - currently on international duty with the France Under-21s team - has affirmed that he is only worried about his endeavours on the pitch rather than off it.
Speaking to L'Equipe, Konate said: "I woke up, I saw my phone ringing all over the place. I just wanted to tell them, 'Hey, I played yesterday, I'm tired, leave me alone'.
"Frankly, I don't even watch this. We can't focus on that, there are the Euros and then my return to the club. You have to focus on that and not on the external things."
The 21-year-old played the full 90 minutes as France Under-21s overcame Russia Under-21s 2-0 in the European Championships on Sunday, but he has only made nine Bundesliga appearances during an injury-hit campaign.
