Lazio have reportedly expressed their interest in signing Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho this summer.
The 29-year-old has failed to hit the heights expected at Camp Nou during an injury-plagued three years with the Catalan club, and the Brazilian is now considering his options.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Lazio have made an enquiry to Barcelona about Coutinho's availability, though any potential deal would have to see the playmaker make a significant wage cut.
Barca are looking to offload several first-team players this summer and it is understood that Coutinho is one of their highest earners who they are willing to let go.
As well as Lazio, the midfielder has also attracted interest from his former club Liverpool, as well as Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.
Coutinho has made 90 appearances for Barcelona since making his club-record transfer from Anfield in January 2018, scoring 23 goals and providing 14 assists.
