Liverpool have reportedly won the race to sign Fluminense goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga.
While Alisson Becker is established as Jurgen Klopp's number one, Liverpool continue to search for competition for the Brazilian.
According to Globo Esporte, the Merseyside giants have identified Alisson's Brazilian compatriot Pitaluga as a potential future replacement.
The report suggests that the Premier League champions are prepared to pay £930,000 up front for the prospect, with the same figure being paid in add-ons at a later date.
Pitaluga is said to be happy to pen a three-year contract, but those terms could be extended through to 2025.
The youngster possesses a German passport, something which has aided Liverpool's bid to push through the transfer.
