Liverpool are expected to close in on a transfer for Blackpool’s Charlie Adam this weekend.
Reds manager Kenny Dalglish had failed to acquire the Scottish international in the January transfer period but, along with Aston Villa, is enthusiastic to secure him this summer.
According to the Blackpool Gazette, Tangerines chairman Karl Oyston will meet with Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli tomorrow to discuss an estimated £10m bid for the midfielder.
Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are also believed to be admirers of the 25-year-old.
