Liverpool have continued talks with Bayer Leverkusen over a deal for midfielder Emre Can, according to reports.
The Anfield side have been pursuing the Germany Under-21 international in recent weeks, but discussions stalled over the weekend when the two sides were unable to agree terms.
BBC Sport reports that Liverpool are now willing to meet the £10m release clause in the 20-year-old's contract, and talks have been progressing smoothly.
Can joined Leverkusen from Bayern Munich last summer.
