Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is reportedly plotting a raid on former club Swansea City to sign £20m-rated Wilfried Bony this summer.
Since joining the South Wales side last year from Vitesse Arnhem, the Ivory Coast international has justified his club-record £12m fee, finishing the season as their top scorer.
According to The People, Rodgers is keen to add Bony to his already prolific strike force of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge as they contemplate a return to the Champions League next season.
It is thought that Bony is keen to play in Europe's premier club competition and Liverpool believe that their return to the tournament may give them the edge over transfer rivals Everton and Arsenal.
