Liverpool reportedly do not view signing Mohamed Salah up to a new contract as an immediate priority.
The Egypt international still has two and a half years left to run on his deal at Anfield, but there is currently speculation surrounding the 28-year-old, who recently hinted at a switch to Spain.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have priorities ahead of Salah's contract, with extensions for Fabinho and Virgil van Dijk seen by the club as more important.
Romano claims that Salah's agent has been in talks with the Premier League champions over a fresh deal but no negotiations are currently taking place between the two parties.
The Egyptian has again been in impressive form for Jurgen Klopp's side during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 17 times in 25 appearances in all competitions.
Real Madrid have allegedly made Salah a leading transfer target ahead of this summer's window.
