Liverpool have reportedly placed as many as three Bayer Leverkusen stars on their shortlist for 2025.
Despite Arne Slot being brought in as a replacement for Jurgen Klopp, the Merseyside giants opted against majorly tinkering with their squad during the last transfer window.
In terms of this season, only Federico Chiesa has been added to the senior ranks, with Slot preferring to stick with many of the players already at his disposal.
However, the Premier League outfit have a number of issues to resolve going forward, including the contractual situations involving Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.
As recently as Monday, the former indicated that he has every intention of penning fresh terms at Anfield, but a report has suggested that a new right-back could be on Liverpool's radar.

Leverkusen three linked with Liverpool
According to CaughtOffside, Jeremie Frimpong is one of three players who will be considered for a move to the North-West of England in 2025.
Furthermore, Liverpool are also said to be monitoring the respective situations with Exequiel Palacios and Florian Wirtz, two other members of Xabi Alonso's all-conquering squad from last season.
Alonso and club officials did an effective job in retaining their key players for at least another season, but there is an inevitability about the group ultimately being broken up in future transfer windows.
Defender Jonathan Tah has already revealed that he plans to take on a new challenge, and it appears that Leverkusen have a job on their hands to fend off Liverpool's and other team's advances for the aforementioned trio.

What is the situation with each player?
Wirtz is widely regarded as one of the best playmakers in world football having now accumulated an incredible 47 goals and 51 assists from his 159 appearances for Leverkusen in all competitions.
With three years left on his contract, the report suggests that it would take a proposal worth €100m (£83.4m) for Leverkusen to consider a sale in one of the next two transfer windows.
Frimpong, formerly of Manchester City, is said to have a £34m release clause in his contract, his numbers of 26 goals and 36 assists from 149 outings at full-back or wing-back making a deal obvious value for money for whoever pushes ahead with a move.
Leverkusen value Palacios at €60m (£50.02m) courtesy of his performances in the engine room, although the report indicates that Liverpool may be against paying such a fee for a player who has never accumulated more than 25 games in a single league season throughout his career.
