Liverpool have reportedly made an approach for Benfica attacker Kyanno Lorenzo, who has also been on the radar of Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.
At the age of 18, Lorenzo has yet to make his senior debut for Benfica; however, he has earned caps for Benfica's Under-23s side and at the Under-19s level while representing the Netherlands.
The teenager is a left-footed forward but plays mainly on the right flank, similar to Mohamed Salah, who has been linked with a possible move to the Middle East in recent times.
In a bid to bolster their squad, Liverpool may be exploring potential additions in January, and according to a report from Football Insider, The Reds have made an approach for the Benfica youngster.
However, the report adds that the English side is not the only one keeping tabs on Lorenzo, as Borussia Dortmund and Atalanta BC have also made enquiries about the 18-year-old.
In the current season, the forward has played in nine matches in both the UEFA Youth League and Portugal's Under-23s side and registered two goals in that time.
Lorenzo came through the ranks at Feyenoord and Sparta Rotterdam before signing a three-year contract with Benfica back in 2021, which is now entering its final months.
Liverpool are currently in second place in the Premier League and head to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace this weekend.
