Liverpool reportedly intend to keep Divock Origi, who has just one year left on his contract, at the club this summer.
Despite starting the season out of the first-team picture, Origi has emerged as a cult hero at Anfield having netted important goals against Everton, Newcastle United, Barcelona and in the Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
However, there has been no sign of a new contract for the Belgium international, who had appeared certain to leave the Merseyside giants 12 months ago.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the Premier League runners-up will not entertain the sale of the 24-year-old before the start of the new campaign.
The report adds that Jurgen Klopp recognises that it may be difficult to replace the attacker due to his versatility in the final third.
