Liverpool are reportedly open to the idea of selling striker Luis Suarez in January.
According to The Mirror, senior officials at the club believe that the 26-year-old will be involved in transfer sagas once again when the window reopens at the start of next year and are ready to offload him in order to continue making progress this campaign.
Suarez, who has only recently returned from a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic last season, publicly stated his intention to leave Liverpool in the summer, but the club refused to let him go.
Despite Suarez's assurance that he is now back at ease at Anfield, Liverpool officials are concerned that the transfer saga will reignite and disrupt their season in January and are prepared to sell the Uruguay international.
Suarez joined Liverpool from Ajax in January 2011.
