Liverpool have reportedly identified Cardiff City goalkeeper Neil Etheridge as a potential summer signing.
Alisson is the established number one at Anfield, his dominance affording backup Simon Mignolet just two appearances during the most recent campaign.
The 31-year-old will likely be given permission to find a new club this summer, leaving manager Jurgen Klopp in a position where he must look for a replacement.
According to Wales Online, that has resulted in an enquiry being made for Etheridge, who made a positive impression in the Premier League this season despite Cardiff's relegation.
The report states that Liverpool are yet to make a formal offer for the 29-year-old, but the former Walsall stopper is currently being considered by Klopp.
Aston Villa have also been linked with a move for Etheridge.
